I heard the old and sullen winter’s lore, Why don’t you see that my way is another? Love me again but as you did before, As a good sister loves her gentle brother. No more sweet warmth I feel in you embrace There is no trembling even in your touches, The simple hapiness and sadness in your face, Like the eternal rainment of thin larches. Who’s able to think so, looked at us? All colours faded in my easy painting, Yet I still love you so but, alas, You don’t see it and not for me you’re waiting. Forgive again! Just farewell and forgive... But for the last time! You can do it rather Than in this narrow bounds I can live, Your deeply-loving and sincere brother!
